Qualification

Experience

Candidates with 3 – 5 years of experience in service, repairs and maintenance of cars/heavy vehicles/generators water pumps and heavy machineries with reputed automobile dealers’ workshops or authorized service centers.

Responsibilities

To troubleshoot and repair existing Air conditioning system/ wiring harness of wide range of cars/ heavy specialized vehicles/ generators / water pumps and heavy machineries.

  • performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
  • strong understanding of wiring diagram/electrical systems in various types of vehicles.
  • diagnosing AC / electrical issues on vehicles using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • diagnosing AC / electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
  • repairing and maintaining various components of performance vehicles.
  • thorough knowledge of electrical theory and practices.
  • ability to operate a windows computer (basic operations).
  • knowledge on modern diagnostic tools to find faults on automobile systems.
  • maintains and is accountable for all company-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition they were received.
  • candidates with previous GCC experience in airport runway & road sweepers /fire fighting vehicles / specialized ambulances preferred.

Responsibilities

To service, diagnose, repair and maintenance of wide range of cars / heavy specialized vehicles / generators / water pumps and individual components. To undertake and diagnose the routine faults.

  • capable of doing unit overhauls (Engine – Diesel or petrol) / Manual & Automatic transmission / drive train system etc. Basic knowledge / ability to attend minor electrical AC complaints on vehicles.
  • reading & understanding of wiring diagrams.
  • ability to repair suspension/brake/cooling system / fuel ignition system / Clutch systems etc.
  • knowledge on modern diagnostic tools to find faults on automobile systems.
  • candidates with previous GCC experience in airport runway & road sweepers / fire fighting vehicles / specialized ambulances preferred.

Experience

Candidates with 3 – 5 years of experience in reputed automobile dealers’ workshops or authorized service centers. Candidates with 5 to 8 years’ GCC experience without qualifications will also be considered, however, they should be able to handle basic English communication.

Roles & responsibilities

  • prepare estimates of materials requirement for automotive paint jobs.
  • masks and protects parts that are not to be painted or coated.
  • sanding, smoothing surfaces, filling of cavities, small dents and scratches with body filler and cleans and prepares surfaces to ensure paint and other finishes will adhere properly.
  • color blending into adjacent panels for a better color match to existing vehicle paint.
  • mix and spray paint and primer as per work instructions.
  • document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
  • select appropriate paint or mix paints using automated paint mixing equipment smart painting.
  • inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags and unpainted areas.
  • maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair.
  • keeps work area clean.
  • complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials.
  • other tasks as assigned.
